Welcome to the TOA Internship Program! Our program provides college and university students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in the travel industry through internships with member companies of the Tour Operators Association.
Our goal is to provide a hands-on learning experience that helps students develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the travel industry. Interns can expect to work on a variety of projects and tasks, gaining valuable experience in areas such as marketing, sales, operations, customer service, and more. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to network with industry professionals and gain insights into the latest trends and innovations in the travel industry.
We welcome students from all backgrounds who are interested in pursuing a career in the travel industry, whether you are a marketing major, hospitality student, or have a passion for travel. Our program is designed to be flexible and customizable, with internships ranging in length from a few weeks to several months, depending on the needs of the member company and the availability of the intern.
As a TOA intern, you will receive support and guidance throughout your internship experience, including regular check-ins and feedback from your member company supervisor. We believe that the internship program provides a valuable opportunity for both students and member companies, helping to build a pipeline of talented and motivated individuals for the future of the travel industry.

Any student who is currently enrolled in a college or university program or has recently graduated from one is eligible to apply for the TOA internship program. Applicants do not need to be affiliated with a member company of the Tour Operators Association to be considered for the internship program.
A: The TOA internship program is an unpaid opportunity for students seeking practical experience in the travel industry.
A: The duration of the internship program is flexible and will depend on the needs of the individual member companies. However, most internships last between 8-12 weeks.
A: Academic credit for internships is solely determined by the applicant's university or college. Please check with your academic advisor or career services office to see if academic credit is available for this internship.
A: TOA will arrange the interns based on their application to different member companies. While we will try to take into account your preferences, we cannot guarantee placement with a specific member company.
A: The application process involves filling out an online form with your personal and academic information, previous experience, availability, and preferred department/team. Once submitted, TOA will review your application and arrange placement with a member company.
A: The TOA internship program is currently open and will remain open until further notice. As new member companies join TOA and request new interns, the program will remain open to any eligible students who wish to apply. However, we encourage interested students to apply as soon as possible as positions may fill up quickly. Please note that individual member companies may have their own application deadlines, So we encourage interested students to apply as soon as possible.
